Photography that looks as good as your food actually is.
The pictures are what most customers see before they ever taste anything. We shoot inside your restaurant, in an editorial style built around your brand, and one session covers the menu, the website and social.
Tell us what should be seenSound familiar?
- Your food photography does not look as good as your food actually is.
- Phone photos under the dining room lights, doing quiet damage on Instagram.
- Stock images on the website, and customers can tell.
- The menu, the website and the socials each showing a different restaurant.
How a shoot actually runs
A shot list, not a catalogue
We work out what is worth photographing before we shoot a frame. What tells your restaurant's story, what cuts through, what your customers actually care about. The menu work usually decides the list.
Professional light, in your restaurant
Natural light is a lovely ideal; professional light is a working tool. We shoot inside your restaurant with purpose-built lighting, so the dishes read on screen and in print the way they read at the table.
Every surface in one session
Each shot is composed with every surface in mind: hero images for the website, verticals for stories and reels, and print-resolution files for the menu. One intentional session beats ten phone shoots.
A grade your brand keeps
A hundred well-shot images still fail if the colour drifts across the set. We build a grade for your brand, the warmth, the contrast, the shadow colour, so next season's dishes match this season's library.

On our own ground
Sichuan House
The food was being photographed on phones under the dining room's fluorescent light, and it was pulling the brand down. We built a proper lighting and shooting plan for the kitchen and the dining room, and the same photography now runs full pages of a 32-page menu.
Nanakusa
The photography was never a separate commission. It was part of the rebrand from the start: a moody, editorial style on red velvet, unusual for Glasgow, carrying the same restaurant across the menu, the website and social.
Common questions
- How do we get our photos, and what can we use them for?
- You get an edited library organised by use, web, social, print and menu, plus the full-resolution originals. The usage is yours for your own marketing on every channel, with no per-use licensing and no surprise fees later.
- We're outside Glasgow. Do you travel?
- Yes. Most of our clients are in the central belt and we travel for shoots and discovery visits. We are happy to talk about further afield.
- How is this different from stock or a hired-in photographer?
- Stock shows a stranger's restaurant. A hired-in photographer hands you a gallery and leaves. We shoot it ourselves, inside your restaurant, and build a library that carries your brand across the menu, social and the dining room, then keep adding to it as the menu changes.
- Can one session really cover the menu, social and the website?
- Yes. Every shot is composed with each surface in mind, so a single session produces hero images for the website, verticals for social, and print-resolution files for the menu.
- What does it cost?
- We don't publish a price list or bill by the hour. Tell us what you want to be seen, and we will say honestly whether a proper shoot is what you need or whether a lighting fix would do. Then we scope it and quote in writing.
